Resurrecting Core Spreading Vortex Methods: A Scheme that is both Deterministic and Convergent

This paper advanced a new type of vortex method, previously thought to be divergent, and proved that it was convergent.

Slime mold inspired routing protocols for wireless sensor networks.

This work with graduate students Ke Li and Claudio Torres developed and analyzed a biologically-inspired routing protocol for sensor actor networks that is based on Physarum polycephalum.

Stochastic modelling of Karlotoxin influence on prey
